The most versatile sail in North's range
was redesigned from scratch to provide a powerful and easily manageable
all-rounder for all those who don't want to deal with techniques and
trimming.
The new Natural hasn’t lost any of the positive properties of its
predecessor and several-times test winner. On the contrary, its
magnificent handling and balanced performance were improved and are now
easier to unleash.
In the course of laborious tests, Kai Hopf developed a new sail
layout that requires much less trimming know-how. This means less time
and knowledge is required for the setup, and no permanent adjustments
need to be made later!
The focus for sizes up to 6.6 is still on handling and pressure
point stability, which explains why only 5 battens are installed. At
7.0 and above, the design focuses on planning and Kai Hopf once again
concentrates on simple rig control and handling. Both versions offer
excellent control, a high level of comfort, and plenty of planning
power, creating the perfect synthesis of speed, acceleration, and
handling. The new Natural will make windsurfing much less complicated,
and for many the problem of choosing the right material will become
obsolete.
